ABOUT MCS
OUR VISION
The long-term vision of MCS is to establish a thriving educational institution in Madison County that provides academic excellence grounded in a biblically based foundation. As the fifth-largest county in Kentucky, Madison County currently lacks a fully accredited Christian school, creating a significant opportunity to serve families seeking this distinctive approach to education.
We aim to offer parents a compelling educational option that integrates rigorous academics with Christian values and spiritual formation. To ensure the highest standards of quality and accountability, we intend to pursue accreditation through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
Our plan is to launch with grades K–5 and to expand incrementally by adding one grade level each year until achieving a full K–12 program. We are actively seeking partnerships with business leaders, community stakeholders, and families who share our vision and are committed to investing in the next generation.
We are targeting a school opening in Fall 2027 and are currently evaluating several potential locations and interviewing potential faculty to best support our mission and future growth.
Will MCS Offer Athletics & Extracurriculars?
We understand that athletics and other extracurricular activities are vital to the well-rounded development of a child and will seek to add an athletic and club programs as growth allows.
Is MCS A Traditional School or Co-Op?
MCS is set up as a traditional-model Christian school, holding to a traditional 5 day a week schedule, offering classes from fully certified teachers. We will be fully accredited and licensed as an educational institution.
Is MCS A "Church-Affiliated" School?
While MCS is distinctly Christian and seeks to partner with the church and home, we are not tethered to one specific church or denomination. Our vision is to be comprised of students from many churches across Madison County and serve the whole body of Christ.
When Will Tours & Meetings Begin?
MCS is slated to begin tours and enrollment in Fall of 2026 & launch its first classes in Fall of 2027. Our Board is currently in process of securing a location and faculty.
